The 9th of April brought an evening that was near perfect for cycling, clear skies, lightish wind, great visibility... just a pity about those hills and other racers pushing us all to exhaustion!
Great to see new faces appearing again this week, with Brian even risking the start of the big match to attend. Conor, Peter Morrison, Vaughan, Desi and Ronnie made their first appearances of the season as well. Welcome John and Ryan to the legends hall of pain!
Vaughan continued where he left off last season posting the fastest time, with Peter M (“I haven’t been on the bike much”) and Conor McG pushing him hard. Special mention to Ryan who rode more than most by heading to the turnaround to begin the race and just about making the start line in Ballygowan!
